Camden Medicals is the retailer and the food business operator. Our own ranges — Aurifera®, Purifera®, Clarifera®, Mycofera® and Flexifera® — are focused supplement families, each formulated for a distinct, evidence-led need and held to the same quality framework.
Why we organise our products into ranges
When you walk into a high-street pharmacy, you don’t see a wall of unbranded bottles — you see Boots Botanics, Holland & Barrett’s own brand, Vitabiotics’ Wellman / Wellwoman / Pregnacare lines, and so on. Ranges help shoppers find the right product faster, signal what’s been formulated for what purpose, and let a retailer hold each formulation to a higher standard than a generic catch-all.
Camden’s approach is what’s called an endorsed-brand model. Camden Medicals (Companies House 16602982) is the trading entity and the retailer. Our products are formulated to Camden’s specification and manufactured for us in UK GMP-certified facilities; Camden Medicals is the food business operator responsible for every product it sells. Each range is a focused product family that lives inside Camden’s quality and compliance framework but speaks to a specific need.
Our ranges
Aurifera® — premium actives
Branded, clinically-researched ingredient forms, each named on the label so you can check the evidence behind it. The name comes from Latin aurifera, used by Pliny and Ovid for “gold-bearing” rivers — gold here meaning the quality bar, not literal gold.
Purifera® — single actives, clean carriers
One active per product, in its premium generic form, without the sweetener stack and filler bloat. Where Aurifera is about branded actives, Purifera is the opposite proposition: one ingredient, well-sourced, well-dosed, no fillers beyond what manufacturing requires. From Latin pūrus / pūra (pure).
Clarifera® — clarity, focus and cognitive longevity
Formulated stacks for long-horizon brain health, built from actives that are chosen to work together rather than sold one at a time. Named for Latin claritas (clarity) — mental clarity, focus, the kind of quiet sharpness that good cognitive supplements should support without overpromising.
Mycofera® — the mushroom kingdom
Mushroom extracts and complexes, each species named on the label and each batch source-traceable. Mycofera is etymologically Greek (mycos = fungus) following Camden’s family rule (Greek stems take -o-fera; Latin stems take -i-fera).
Flexifera® — registered and in preparation
No Flexifera products are on sale yet; this page will change the day the first one is. The name comes from Latin flectere (to bend).
Trade-mark status
Camden Medicals (composite mark, Class 35, UK00004378342) and the five range marks — Aurifera®, Purifera®, Clarifera®, Mycofera® and Flexifera® (Class 5) — were entered in the UKIPO register on 31 July 2026. Each range is a Brand entity in our structured data, with parent-organization references back to Camden Medicals. Our own ranges stand alongside our ingredients encyclopaedia — the public quality bar we hold our own products to.
